The whole picture.
A plan in writing.
The Terra Assessment is where menopause and weight care starts, and where you finally get to tell the whole story.
You’ll leave knowing what’s going on, what will help, and what to do next. Not “come back in three months and we’ll see.”
What you’ll leave with.
- Answers that connect. We go through your symptoms, history, sleep, mood, cycle, weight and goals together, so the pieces finally make sense.
- Your real starting point. A body composition scan shows your muscle, fat and where it sits, so we are not guessing from a scale.
- A written plan in your patient portal. What we found, what we recommend and why, and your next steps. Read it again at home. Share it with your family doctor.
- A clear answer on what’s next. A program, a membership, a single follow-up, or nothing more if you do not need it. Marie will tell you honestly.
Is the Assessment for you?
It’s for you if
- You think you’re in perimenopause or menopause and want proper care, including hormone therapy if it’s right for you.
- Your weight has changed and nothing that used to work is working.
- You want a second opinion, or help with one specific concern.
- You’re 18 or over and weight is your main concern. Men are welcome for weight care.
It’s not for you if
- You need urgent care. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
- You’re looking for a family doctor. Terra is specialized care, not primary care.
- You live outside the provinces we are licensed in. Virtual care is available in NL, ON, AB and BC.
What happens in your Assessment.
- An unhurried assessment with Marie. Enough time to talk about everything, not just the one thing you came in with.
- A body composition scan in clinic. So you know your starting muscle and fat, and later, whether you are losing fat and keeping muscle.
- Your Terra Health Snapshot, in your Jane patient portal. Your findings, recommendations and next steps, all in one place.
- A recommendation on what to do next, and sometimes that is nothing of ours. The plan ends by saying which way forward we think fits you and why. If occasional visits with your own family doctor is the honest answer, that is what it will say.
- A follow-up visit four to six weeks later, included. We see how the plan is working and change what needs changing. You are not deciding anything on the day, and you are not paying again to be reviewed.
Why pay $597 when my family doctor is free?
Fair question. Marie worked in that system for 15 years.
Your family doctor is juggling a lot in a short appointment. Menopause care and weight care both take time, and most clinicians were not trained in either. That is not their fault. It is how the system was built.
Here is what your $597 gets that a short visit usually cannot:
- Room to cover everything. The appointment runs as long as it needs to, and the whole list gets looked at together rather than one concern per visit.
- Menopause training. Marie is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, working from current evidence on hormone therapy and its alternatives.
- Measurement. A body composition scan, so your plan is based on what is actually happening in your body.
- A written plan. You don’t have to remember everything that was said. It is in your portal, and you can bring it to your family doctor.
And if you join a program within 60 days, the full $597 comes off the price.
An assessment, not a questionnaire.
Many online services start with a form and end with a prescription. Terra starts with a conversation and a scan, and ends with a plan that covers nutrition, sleep, movement and medication if it is right for you. And if you need help after, there is a real clinic and a real person to come back to.

Terra Assessment: $597.
Your Assessment counts toward your program.
Join Terra 360 Vitality or Terra Metabolic within 60 days of your Assessment and the full $597 comes off the program price.
- Vitality after credit: $1,400, or 4 × $350.
- Weight after credit: $600 balance.
After 60 days, the credit no longer applies. You can still join any program at the regular price, become a member, or book follow-ups as you need them.
What happens after you book.
- Book online. Choose in clinic in Paradise, or virtual.
- Fill in your intake forms. They come by email before your visit, so the hour goes to you, not paperwork.
- Your Assessment. Your assessment with Marie, unhurried, plus your body composition scan.
- Your plan arrives in your portal. Written up and yours to keep.
- You decide. You have 60 days to join a program with your full $597 credit.
Questions,
answered.
Do I have to choose a program before I come?
No, and we would rather you did not. You do not need to work out which pathway is right for you before you have been assessed. That is the point of the visit. We talk it through together afterwards, and you have sixty days to decide with your full $597 credit intact.
I have not been to Terra in a while. Do I start over?
Not necessarily. We will look at when you were last seen and what has changed, and tell you honestly whether a follow-up will do or whether a fresh Assessment makes more sense. Time passing on its own does not mean starting again.
Can I do my Assessment virtually?
Yes, if you live in Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Body composition scans are done in clinic in Paradise.
Will I leave with a prescription?
If medication is right and safe for you, we can talk about starting it. Not everyone needs medication, and every plan includes nutrition and lifestyle care either way.
What if I don’t join a program?
That is fine. Your plan is yours to keep, and your included follow-up still happens. After that you can book a visit when you need one, $149, or join a program later at the regular price.
Is the $597 refundable if I join a program?
It isn’t refunded, it is credited. Join Vitality or Metabolic within 60 days and the full amount comes off your program.
Can I come for a second opinion or just one concern?
Yes. The Assessment works for a full workup, a second opinion or a single concern.
Can I talk to someone before I book?
Yes. Book a free Terra Welcome Call, ten minutes by video with a nurse or nurse practitioner from our clinical team. It covers how Terra works, what the Assessment costs and what happens after it. It is not an appointment, so symptoms, bloodwork and treatment wait for your Assessment.
What should I bring?
A list of your medications and supplements, any recent bloodwork, and your questions. For the scan, wear light clothing.
Not ready to book?
Talk to us first.
A free Terra Welcome Call. Ten minutes by video, with a nurse or nurse practitioner from our clinical team.
Choosing where to get your care is a real decision, and $597 is a real amount of money. If you want to understand how Terra works before you commit to anything, book a Welcome Call and ask. There are three things it is for.
- What Terra offers, and how it is different. How we look after menopause, hormonal health and medical weight care, and what makes this different from a short appointment or an online prescription you may have already tried.
- What the Assessment costs, and what happens after it. What the $597 covers, what you leave with, how the sixty day credit works, and what the programs and the membership cost if you decide to carry on.
- How to book, and what to expect. In clinic in Paradise or virtually, what happens on the day, what the intake forms ask, and when your written plan lands in your portal.
One thing to be clear about. This is a short conversation about how Terra works, not an appointment. The nurse you speak to will not assess your symptoms, read your bloodwork, advise you on treatment or tell you which program you need. Not because she cannot, but because doing any of that properly takes a full assessment, and ten minutes on a video call would not do you justice. So bring your questions about Terra, and save your questions about you for your Assessment, where there is time to answer them properly.
Ready to stop guessing?
A thorough assessment, a scan and a written plan.
You don’t have to arrive with the right medical words or a complete explanation. Start with what has changed, and we will work through the questions with you.
