Skin Health

Start with a concern.

Most people arrive knowing what bothers them rather than knowing what it is called. Start here and each concern leads to the treatment built for it. If more than one applies, that is normal, and it gets sorted at the consultation.

Healthy skin first.
Everything else sits on top of it.

The order is not a preference. It is how the results last.

Aesthetic treatment never stands in for skin health. Filler placed over an unrepaired barrier still looks like an unrepaired barrier, and microneedling on skin that is actively breaking out sets everything back. Where a condition needs treating, it gets treated first, and the aesthetic plan is built on the skin you have afterwards. Often both run alongside each other, which is the advantage of having one clinician holding the whole plan.

Conditions rather than cosmetics. Acne, rosacea, pigment, scarring and barrier repair, assessed clinically and treated in a course.

Medical Skin Assessment$75

We diagnose, treat and build treatment plans for medical skin concerns: acne, rosacea, psoriasis, dermatitis, pigment, moles, tags and benign lesions. Lesions are checked with a dermatoscope so the plan is based on what the skin is actually doing, with referral to a specialist where that is the right call.

Lesion removal and cryotherapy from $55 per lesion.

Chemical Peelsfrom $130

Vivier peels for texture, pigment and congestion. Every peel is chosen for your skin type and your concern rather than run off a standard menu, and the strength is adjusted as your skin adapts. Usually a series rather than a single visit, and priced that way.

Microneedlingfrom $300

The DP4 is a Health Canada approved medical microneedling pen. It makes controlled micro-channels in the skin, which prompts it to lay down new collagen for texture, pores and early laxity. Prescription numbing first, so most people find it very manageable.

Three things can be added to a session:

  • PRP. Platelet-rich plasma, drawn from your own blood, spun down and applied into the channels the needling has just made. Platelets carry growth factors, which are the signals your skin already uses to repair itself, so this puts more of them exactly where the work is being done. We use it when the goal is overall quality: firmness, texture and tone, with calmer healing afterwards. It came from you, so there is nothing synthetic in it and nothing to react to.
  • VAMP. The same idea as PRP, more concentrated: a higher platelet count in a smaller volume. We use it when the skin needs a stronger signal than PRP gives, so deeper texture, acne scarring, or skin that has not moved as much as we hoped on a standard course. Same source, same safety, more of the active part.
  • Exosomes. Cell-signalling messengers, applied to the treated skin. Rather than adding material, they carry instructions between cells, and we use them where inflammation is part of the picture: redness, reactive skin, and settling things down after a session so recovery is shorter and the skin keeps working between appointments.

Scar Treatmentplan at consult

Microneedling and PRP-based series for acne scarring and surgical scars. Scars remodel slowly and only with the right stimulus repeated on schedule, so this is always a course rather than one appointment.

Flex MD Light Therapyfrom $55

Medical-grade red, blue and infrared light. Red and infrared reach deeper to support healing and calm inflammation, blue targets the bacteria involved in acne. Add it to any session to speed recovery and settle the skin afterwards.

It is also used on its own for pain management, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and hair growth.

Injectables

Planned at a consultation before anything is booked. Enhance, not change.

Neurotoxinfrom $9/unit

Botox, Dysport and Nuceiva. Used to temporarily relax the muscles that crease the skin, for a smoother, more rested look.

Areas we commonly treat:

  • Frown lines between the brows
  • Forehead lines
  • Crow’s feet around the eyes
  • Bunny lines along the nose
  • A gummy smile, or a downturned mouth
  • Chin dimpling, and neck bands
  • Jaw slimming and teeth grinding

Priced by the unit, so you pay for what you need rather than a flat area price.

Dermal Fillerfrom $550

Dermal filler is a hyaluronic acid gel, a substance your skin already makes, placed under the skin to restore volume that has been lost and to support structure where it has softened. It is not the same as neurotoxin: filler adds back, neurotoxin relaxes.

Commonly used for:

  • Cheeks and midface, where volume falls first
  • Under-eye hollows
  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • Jawline and chin definition
  • Temples
  • Lips

Structure and balance, never overfilled. 15% off additional syringes in the same session, and many plans build over more than one visit.

Lip Enhancementfrom $300

Subtle and structural. Full lips $550, mini lips $300.

Biostimulators (Sculptra and others)from $700/vial

Depending on your assessment, collagen stimulators rather than fillers. They do not add volume on the day, they prompt your own collagen over months. A series of two to three or more sessions.

Skin Boostersconsult

Babyglow and similar. These are injected hyaluronic acid, but unlike filler they are not placed to add shape. They sit in the upper layers and draw water into the skin, so hydration comes from within rather than sitting on top in a cream.

Over a short series, skin tends to look more supple, with a softer surface and a better light to it. Usually several sessions a few weeks apart, then occasional top-ups.

Discussed at consultation, since suitability varies.

Not every injectable is cosmetic. Migraine, TMJ and TMD pain, bruxism and hyperhidrosis are treated with the same medication and the same precision.

Hair Restoration

Assessment and bloodwork first, then treatment built on what the results show.

Hair and Scalp Assessmentincluded with PRP

Thinning and shedding are symptoms, and the causes may include thyroid function, iron stores, hormonal change and scalp health. Assessment and bloodwork come first, then a plan built on what the results actually show.

PRP Scalp Therapyfrom $550

Platelet-rich plasma to the scalp, on a set schedule. Hair grows on its own timeline, so what you do now shows up in about six months.

Typically 3 to 4 treatments up front for the best chance of a result. Packages available.

Paying For It

You can pay monthly.

We know a treatment plan can be a real number to look at all at once. Beautifi is a Canadian medical financing company, and you can apply through them to spread the cost over monthly payments instead. Applying does not commit you to anything here, and what we recommend does not change either way.

Common Questions

Questions,
answered.

I have more than one concern. Where do I start?

Most people do. Start with whichever bothers you most and bring the rest to the consultation. Part of the assessment is working out the order, because some things genuinely need treating before others will hold. Active acne comes before scar work. Barrier repair comes before actives. That sequencing is the value of having one clinician planning it.

Can I buy a course of treatments rather than one at a time?

Yes. Microneedling and PRP hair restoration are both available as packages, because both work on a schedule rather than in a single session. Everything else is booked and priced per treatment, and the plan for the order it runs in comes out of your consultation.

Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?

Ideally yes, and it is free. But we can assess and treat at the same visit if you would rather not come twice.

Either way, every single visit includes a nurse practitioner assessment to work out the best treatment for your skin and your goals. That is not an add-on, it is how the appointment starts.

Do I have to be menopausal to be treated here?

No. Terra treats skin at every stage of adult life, and plenty of patients here have nothing to do with the menopause pathway. What is different is that if hormonal change is part of your picture, it will be recognised rather than missed, because the same clinician handles both.

How do you keep results looking natural?

By planning before treating and by treating conservatively. Structure is addressed before volume, doses are planned by the unit and the syringe rather than by the package, and the face map on this page exists so the plan is visible before anything is booked. Nothing is done in a single session that cannot be built on gradually.

How is pricing worked out?

Treatments are priced by unit, syringe, vial, or session, and listed on this page. Packages, for microneedling and PRP hair restoration, are priced as a course and quoted at your consultation. You will be given the full number before anything is booked, never partway through.

Your first step is always free.

Every aesthetic consultation at Terra is free, in person, and obligation-free. An assessment and a plan: what your face is actually doing, what would genuinely help, and what it costs. Come with questions. Leave knowing what you want to do, or knowing you want to think about it. Both are fine.
